David S. Robinson, EdD

David S. Robinson, EdD has served as evaluator for CEHL’s research component: “Emotional and Psychosocial Issues in Children and Families: Pediatrics for the New Millennium – A Randomized Trial.” He led the assessment of the impact of CEHL’s training on both clinicians and parents.

Dr. Robinson is President of DSRobinson & Associates, an evaluation and strategic planning consulting group with clients in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut and New York. Dr. Robinson is also Program Evaluator/Epidemiologist in the Asthma Control Program, Rhode Island Department of Health.

For twenty-five years, Dr. Robinson has directed the Research and Evaluation Department at the Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (MSPCC). He is an Instructor and research faculty member at Simmons College School of Social Work, and helped coordinate their Research Practicum beginning in 2004. He is President of the Board of Alliance for Inclusion and Prevention, a non-profit corporation providing mental health and special education services, and after-school programs within public schools in Boston, Massachusetts. Dr. Robinson’s primary teaching interests include: participatory evaluation, violence prevention, family and child mental health and development, research methods, criminal justice, action research and program evaluation.
